thats the reason i did a 500whp in the hands of this guy...

first of all.. he's the best subaru tuner in the world...

not because i want, and because my dom5 by E-tune is getting full boost at around 3500rpm...

its just ridiculous... mikey really know what the f#uck hes doing...

the only worry i have now is ... will my clutch handle this power???

dman... im running a car that seems a bike... lololol

Thanks guys for all the support and compliments. I'd like to say thanks to a few people that have really helped me out in the last few weeks to get the car ready for this abuse.

Bonfire had my motor out in an hour for inspection and new head gaskets. He had it back in in an hour and a half

Jimmy at The Shop for inspecting the motor, rebuilding the heads, and re assembly (untouched Rallispec bottom end at around 50k miles)

EL Jonesy for any machining I need

Wiznaz for getting me AMPED in the staging lanes

And Michelle, because I never get yelled at for going to the track 2-3 times in a week when time provides

good work mikey, are you going to have THESHOPCT or Akuma build your motor when its next time for it?
Jimmy's my boy, Johns my friend. But I think the next one will be built at my house. After I blow up 4 or 5 self built motors, Ill have a good idea of whats right and whats wrong

I thought about trying this out with Junior;s Hoosiers and going 10's. I think Im just going to try to make something happen on a 68 or a green and go back to the stocker in 30-45 degree temps. A video will be up probably tomorrow of the car's ins and outs.

I don't know about that. I'm pretty sure a few people had gone 11s on a VF before DOWN. Doing it in a STI would have been another thing, but primarily I think it was the lack of backing up the pass that made it unbelievable.

Mikey Backed up a 11.5 with an 11.5, Roly a 11.6 with 11.6s, Adrain a 11.6 with 11.6s, CJ backed up his passes, I backed up my 11.7s with 11.7s..
Down backed up his 11.7 with a 12.1.. I'm not talking ****, I know sometimes its tough to back up a perfect pass.. but in reality when you set a "record" you usually have to back it up

I'm with CJ on this though.. Mikey just motivated a bunch of people to step up there game. I think this fall will be fun at the track

Nice!!

11.50 will not be the record for long though. As long as she stays together (including gearbox ) the car will be in the 11.35 range soon. These times were accomplished in 80 - 90 degree temps.

40-50 degree weather will get me to a 11.35. If I do rims/breaks/carbon drive shaft/ short shifter, maybe 11.1?? High compression, 10.999?? Sounds absolutely ridiculous right

If nothing breaks, I'll promise an 11.399 pass.

Aim for the sky mang

Mikey you don't worry about the gear box 330-400wtq is nothing for a 07 STi tranny. Yeah! better better weather should give you another 10-20whp.

I don't have an STi but I would like to give it another shot for the overall VF series record although I am still the fastest VF39, I never run 11s and it sucks . But i can't justify spending 1K on drag radials. If someone would lend me some drag radials I would buy a $300 VF39 in a heart beat.

Mikey you are seriously worried about the 6mt?

What motor mounts are you running? Reason I ask is that I have started noticing a wear spot in my under hood insulation that looks like it is coming from the oil cap which I can only guess is from the motor raising up under load...anybody else have this issue?
