So im about to change my entire exhaust system to a turbo back and i saw some threads people talking about using ramps for the rear and then jack stand in the front.
So i was looking up for ramps and apperantly there are regular ramps and low profile ramps. So i was wonderin if anyone knows what type of ramps we need or recommended

Whatever ramps your car can drive up on. Normal ramps are fine with non lowered cars without a crazy front lip.
Low profile ramps dont get the car up as high, making them less usefull, so if you dont NEED them, I would skip them. |

This. I always put some sort of secondary support under the car, even if its not tight up against, I dont take chances, I have seen a car come off stands with someone partially under it, and I have seen more than one set of ramps fail with a car on them. If I am going to put the car on stands, I slide the ramps under the wheels or under the frame somewhere (if the wheels are off) |

I am a nervous nelly when I have to lay under the car ![]() If I have one end up, I support it on 2 stands (obviously) and stick my other 2 stands under somewhere. And if the wheels are on, I usually stick at least one ramp under. If all 4 wheels are off/in the air, I use the 4 jack stands (one each corner obviously) and I leave the jack under the pinch weld semi tight. I also usually stick one of the wheels or the stands under the car as well. If I have a wheel under the center front and center rear, and am working in the middle (shifter or whatever) and the car comes off all the supports, it will land on the wheels. I will damage 2 wheels, but the only thing that will happen to ME, is a ruined pair of underwear. |

I got rhino ramps from advance auto for 45 bucks I think. My car is lowered and I have no problems by putting a piece of wood at the front of the ramp. The rear doesn't need the wood.
