Detailed: 1988 Porsche 944

My neighbors son picked this beauty up as a toy. The car has 15,000 original miles and is in great condition for a 23 year old car.

The paint was dulled/swirled, but the worst was the passenger side headlight. It was heavily oxidized. The engine bay wasn't bad. It just needed a little attention and shine.

The paint took a few passes to work out the majority of swirls.

Process:

- Wash
- Jack the car up to clean the wheel wells
- Clay
- Engine: diluted simple green to clean up then some CD2 to shine things up
- Interior: vacuumed, shampoo the mats, 303 the dash/doors, condition leather
- Polished with Menzerna SIP using 4" blue LC pads (had to switch pads out every few panels).
- Applied Poorboy's Black Hole using a blue Edge pad
- Applied Wolfgang sealant
- use Poorboy's trim restorer on the black trim.

I didn't take any full on before shots since it was really cloudy and you couldn't really see anything.

Very clean! That engine bay makes me envious, as I've been wrenching on an '86 Turbo the last few days, and its the biggest pain on my back and knuckles... So much more room in the engine bay on the NA models.
