Default 2012-2013 New Cars: The Ultimate Buyer's Guide/Motor Trend

Quote:
The recovery in new car sales that began in 2010 continued into 2011, despite the still fragile economy and the threat of higher gas prices. So, business as usual? Not quite. America's streetscape is changing rapidly, with small cars and fuel efficient cars taking an ever bigger share of the market. New car buyers now have more choice than ever -- more vehicles, and more powertrains. Picking the car that's right for you is tougher than ever.
To help we've put together this 2012-2013 New Car Buyer's Guide. We break down the 162 models currently on sale or soon to appear in showrooms across the U.S. with concise, to-the-point reviews that will enable you to make an informed decision regardless of what car you're looking to buy. Be it electric or eclectic, Fiesta or Ferrari, gas guzzler or gas sipper, we've got you covered.

I revise my earlier statements. They are hard core suck and swallow to any an all hybrids.

I truely think MT needs to just go away. THey have long since lost credibility.

Have you driven one? It's a pretty neat car to drive. I wouldn't mind owning one.

Technologically smart and a car that you have to drive before you die (their words, not mine) are two different things. This is just Motor Trend getting on their knees and doing GM it's monthly servicing (the only two 5 star American cars on the list are the ZR-1 and the Volt).

If you look at the other cars they gave the same rating to I think you'd understand (ok, the miata too especially the 3rd/4th gens don't belong in the same group they put it with)
