And make sure to get the appropriate help. Don't do the wiring yourself, pay zephyr to do it. The mechanicals are doable yourself, with help.

one of my good friends has a obdII wagon that has an obdI JDM sti 2.0litre from i think a 94' STI, i forget what it is but the thing is a monster and so sleeper and it's all in a wagon too. so he has the full sti motor swap, trans, etc...EVERYTHING. he wants to part with it relatively soon and that would be the perfect swap for your car.

it give my stage 2 sti a run for it's money easy.

here is what it's in currently.

Just buy a jdm civakk! LOL on a more serious note my bro is selling his gsr-t thing pulls like a train. Ugh, fugginn moving out this morning I pray everything goes well I despise moving...

Obd2 sucks its illegal as far as emmisions whenever u swap an older motor into a newer car. Pita too, I had an ek and it was obd2 and the only options were 2to 1 jumper and run a p28 and boost the stock d or save up almost 3k for an obd2 swap from an em1 or an obd2 teg.

Basically every exhaust modification you do to a car is illegal. What makes you wanna cry about the odb2?

i really shouldn't be spending money, but it not every day you get to womp on a scuderia...but the road course at english town is TERRIBLE. plus researching it a bit, i don't think they will really let you push the car...

i honestly don't know. he hates the thing. had so many issues with it which is why its great swap car, the shell is done...he is still toying with the idea of swapping it into an older impreza coupe. i'll ask him and see what he says. how much of a rush are you in here?

i would do it. the gf8 is not as good condition at all. perfect example of an ej20g (robs 550 ecu, wrx coilpacks, etc) and worst example of a shell. full disclosure i believe it wants a new waterpump (or thermostat or sensor, no one's been helpful), which i was given by the previous owner and didn't realize why. my other car's finally being built so i don't need two sti and was just going to get back in a miata, but every time i drive it i reconsider, and just want to throw this powertrain in a coupe/sedan and take it to the grave.

Garrity - Are you sure your car is rust free underneath? Cars in the snow belt pick up crazy amounts of rust. Usually when you see surface rust, it's indicative of other issues inside. You'll want to go through the whole underbody, subframe, etc. Check the pinch welds too as the paint is usually garbage there and rusts up.

it's not so much the body as it is the dash, previous owner did a grey dash swap and removed AC, i've made no effort to do anything but drive the car. couldn't be less offended though, since i know what the car does good and bad and what it's worth; i just wish i could be as dishonest as the PO.
