The right tools increase my efficiency in jobs which means I get paid better. If your just tinkering at home you don't need near what I have. Those will do you well, I couldn't live without my ratchets though and my torque wrench and my air tool.

Oh and my ultimate tool, a lift. As I found out quickly, using a car jack to put jack stands in really sucks.

I don't have the problem muhahah
But yeah that would drive me nuts. Only way I use a jack is for quick tire changes otherwise it just seems like to much work. Lifts are spendy though, but last forever. We have had some for 15+ years with minimal maintenance

Ship it to AMS for the alpha 12 install... Drool. Friend of my dads in California that owns 4 shops has one. Stupid grin 24/7 when in it. To bad I couldn't drive it just sit in the tiny backseat ha

29th at the latest but we could be done a little earlier. Longer I stay in Texas the more I make so I don't want to rush home. Plus it gives my mechanic more time to work everything out.

Don't worry. I don't think walking 40+ miles on a side hill lie with a 3:1 slope in 90 degree weather is going to be a walk in the park. I'm doing inspections on earthen levees in Freeport, Texas.

Good Luck!! Just finished reading through all 24 pages of your build thread. Thanks for giving me plenty of ideas. I think I'm just going to wait until my car is paid off first. Then I'm going to get "weird".

I almost went too far. Not as far as you did though. I did:

and tuned for all of it.

I wanted to continue but I was planning a move and now I'm unemployed. I'm happy where I am now but I really need to get a job first and then focus more on getting the thing paid off. I already have a name for the build. "Big Bill's Black Betty Bam Ba Lam Build"

I think I am done after the rest of my bottom line body stuff, 83mm cai, hard turbo inlet and turbo.

Smeerone, Bertune fired up his 700+ whp STi for me at his shop, holy crap!!!!! The thing sounds like a funny car dragster. Pure power. His cams are larger than 280's. Custom Kelfords.

Day three without my car. Very

. I fly out tomorrow so then I won't feel so bad since I wouldn't be able to drive her anyways.

I have been going around in my parent's turbo RDX though. That thing is fast and hits hard. I think because it is so quiet that it makes the experience so exciting. My car is so loud that I hesitate to get on it in the middle of traffic.
