Talking Ok, who works for NeverSummer?

I was just on their site and in their links they have a link to both the I-club and the WRX site. Does someone here work there?

That's what I'm talking about. I need a discount. I'll buy stickers for the rack too. Come on, fess up.

Or maybe you are too busy making the best boards out there.

I want a new board! I was hoping of going up to the mountain with some members last year since there seems to be a lot of members who board and ski, but everyone was flaking on me. I know I'm good, but don't be intimidated!

Guy's name is Brad that works for NS. He was a buddy of mine before I had to move from CO to CA. He has a black WRX wagon like me I let him know about this site a while back. Talk about a sweet job, he gets paid to come up with the designs of new boards. Not draw them, the artists do that, just to come up with the idea. I want his life Really cool guy, I'll shoot him an email letting him know there is some interest here..................hum... maybe a board with a Suby on it...................must plug ideas in his head

The guys down at Never Summer are really nice. I went down to the factory and was hanging out with Jamie, one of the owners, and he sold me a blemished board for $175, brand new, and he also threw in 3 of the metal Never Summer logos.

I may have to go take a tour My friend worked there last year and was supposed to make me a custom board, but could only make one. He made his own of course. I don't really want a Suby on my board, but a custom graphic would be super cool.

Nick, I'll ride with ya if you are not just a park rider. I hate the park, but I can show you some FUN stuff at Keystone (worked there for 2 years). Where do you usually ride??

Keystone. But no wolverine. It starts killing me! Where is Never Summer located? I ride the park only occasionally, so no worries.

Keystone, fun? Hmmm. Outstanding to mountain bike, but that mountain blows in the winter. Good place to haul ass, but their patrol practically clocks you with radar guns. Mary Jane is the place to be.

btw, I'm a two planker

so now we have a RMIC snowboarding meet coming into fuition

keystone does kick ass for mtn biking....amazing trails.

the mtn is ok in the winter...you just have to know where to go. i almost got kicked off the slopes for throwing snowballs last year.

i'm not a park rider either. seems that's reserved for honda drivers i like to take my burton custom 163 out in the backcountry

Where's the love for Copper Mountain? I love that place, I use to get that pass and the three mountain pass, but for the past two years I have just been getting Copper.

I am down for riding anywhere though.

I see, the two planker thing explains it. J/K. Keystone has a lot of "hidden" stuff that you only know about if you ride it every day for 2 years. North Peak (keystone) has a great run called Starfire that is AWESOME to fly down, and as long as you slow down before the bottom, ski patrol doesn't hassle you. As a matter of fact, they only hang out on the green runs and in the crowded areas (by lifts and where runs intersect). A lot of the fun stuff you have to have good snow coverage for. Pray for snow!

My fave mountain is Copper Mt., (worked there for a year too!) but if everyone is getting a "buddy pass" I guess I better too, so I have people to ride with.

Yeah starfire rocks! I was lucky enough to hit it right after they opened the run this year. They were throwing snow on it the two previous days. So much powder I was almost tired at the end! The the end is the greatest part, too bad it goes right into the spillway!

Nick C.
So where is everyone getting passes to? I was thinking of the 3 mountain again.

Oh yeah, don't hold your breath, hehe. "Meet" on the mountain idea.

Nick,

You think that run on Starfire was fun? I was a lifty for 2 of those years working on North Peak and had to snowboard to work. Heading down the backside of Keystone mountain headed towards North Peak before ANYONE has rode it on a morning that it snowed the night before is awesome! There's no better way to wake up. Never Summer lists themselves at 5077 Colorado Blvd. Wonder if that's just their office though. hmmm.

I would prefer the $200 Copper Mountain pass, where is everyone getting their passes at?

For the guy looking for a NeverSummer sticker, they sent me a free one when I requested a catalog. Its the Colorado flag in a star shape. I bet it goes on my rack when I get one.

I will probably be getting the usual Copper mountain pass, but I don't know. Buying my Subaru really put a damper on snowboarding because I have to work so much to pay for it and the insurance?

I just called Copper and they said that they aren't selling passes until Labor day weekend and won't have pricing until then.

I had a 3 mtn. pass last year and only went 4 days becouse i hate riding by myself and the snow sucked... I like powder on my board.

I'm thinking about going back to skis. becouse with all the hard pack skis are a little more fun to carve on.

I need to start saving for a pass but if it snows as much as it has rained then i feel i will be throwing away money again.

<-------- Winter Park, baby. Bought & paid for. When you guys are ready to ski/ride some real mountains, come visit Ms. Jane for a while, then go to Utah. You will never look at Summit County the same again, ever.

<---------- is making a trip to Utah around Christmas and maybe another one around spring break.

Steamboat also gets a lot of snow, but "the Jane" is too moguly for most of us single plankers. I can ride it mind you, it just isn't that fun.

Moguls suck! They just make me tired, not too fun.
