Default Back in the AWD game -_-

As a lot of people know, I bought a brand new EVO IX MR at the end of 2005 the day they dropped in Houston, TX. I then went on to put 180,000 miles on it, and like a jackass I sold it earlier this year for a 2010 EVO X SE...hated that, and bought the BMW 335i below. Like everybody told me, I missed the hell out of my IX MR, so today I picked this one up. 64k miles, bone stock...for now

The 335 is the trophy wife, but the EVO is the one I REALLY love -_-

few new pics

interior all cleaned up and protected

refinished the headlights. not a HUGE difference because they weren't that bad to begin with, but it took out what little hazing there was, and all the chips, pits, etc. the difference is a lot more noticeable in person. I used the 3M kit and a drill
Before

After

All cleaned and waxed

You should ditch that overpriced BMW and get an STi. Then in the mornings, you can stand there trying to decide which to drive to work.

lol nah...the STi would be an overpriced garage ornament. I'd never buy/drive an STi. Can't stand them. With an EVO as the toy/race car/fun to drive car, there'd be no reason at all to have an STi. It's the exact same car, only not as fast, not as fun, and uglier. The bummer is the perfect compliment to the EVO. When I need something good on gas, that looks good, and rides smooth, enter the bummer. Also, I wouldn't call the bummer overpriced for what it is/does by any means.

To rebuld the exact car that I had/sold.

link below to my old one (keep in mind that all these pics are of the car when it had between 160-180k miles on it)

So you went on a Subaru forum to boast about your Evo IV MR, which is nice btw then all of a sudden you're talking down on the STi.

Bro you're on the wrong forum lol

That sir, is an excellent question lol I don't hate the STi, I personally would never own/drive one. I like the way they look, and I've got friends who have them, but I don't see the point of buying a car that you know right off the bat is slower than it's opposition. I know some people say it's more comfortable, a better DD, and all that, and I understand that if that's what you're looking for. for me though, that stuff has never really mattered much, and now I've got the bummer for that.

If you say so. The bummer's a damn sexy automobile, and it serves it's purpose well. Also, for what I paid for it, it wasn't overpriced at all.

I have an 05 OBP LGT and an 06 OBP STI no color blindness either. In fact they look really good sitting next to each other.

I think you guys are stretching the insults a little far
