Default Urgent! Need your opinions!

Ok, so basically this is the story... On this thread:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2102642

... I was told that for my vented rear discs (1 pot/sliding version 4 STI 266mm) I should use the 90-94 Legacy Turbo rear setup.

My brother is in USA during this week, so I shipped them to his hotel and he took the following pic of them:

And this is the current disc on my car:

Is it my idea or the new ones seem to be smaller?

They are supposed to be 266mm, same as mine, but the braking surface looks smaller to me, or at least I don't see the area where the pad doesn't touches the disc on the new ones (you can notice that "rusty"-no pad contact area on my current disc)

I'm afraid the lack of that area might cause the calliper not to fit correctly....

What do you guys think?

Why not have him measure it for you?

I'll try to make him do that, but he's in a lot of meetings and may not have the time...

Anyone else have installed 90-94 Legacy turbo discs on a Version 4 JDM? (R160 diff I guess?)

If those rotors are 266mm, AND they are vented, then they should fit without issue. Solid rotors will not fit correctly under STi brackets.

Yes those are 266mm and vented... let's see if they fit next week when they arrive home
