Default 2011 Sport Compact Nationals - bugeye goes 10's

Just got back from the Sport Compact Nationals in Norwalk Ohio. Wanted to post up a video that I took if a fast Subaru. I had a great time fighting the heat and meeting some new people.

HERE is a link to the video.

Guys name is Kyle, and I'm sure he will be in here to comment

Nice car, great shifting. Looks like I got work to do vs his driving. Sounds like he had the redline too low at the top of 4th. Maybe the parachute jinxed him lol. Good run never the less.

I'd love to see more info on this car...

I love watching evos get their asses handed to them.

I don't have a whole lot of info on the car. I do know that it ran a UTEC with a MAF. I thought that was pretty different. And I do know that he was driving the wheels off that thing, VERY consistent. He's also won the previous 2 years here at National Trails in Columbus.

no what it is is that car will be in the 9's by summers end thus the need for a chute. The combo is not even near being pushed hard yet.

Could have just taken it off then.

Its funny you guys talk **** about the evo guy who clearly isn't in the same class of power seeing as he only trapped 110.

Hey guys I appreciate all the compliments, also great video. Essentially the car is Shrek Tuned (john1badsti) and has been in the mid to low tens all season. This race we were really concentrating on getting the car to 60ft. On that 10.4 pass the car was still spinning like crazy and the best 60ft of the day was a 1.69.

soon to be 9's so stay tuned

I wasn't saying the car was slow or the driver was bad.
But if your gonna run a chute, you should at least be getting close or getting your NHRA 9 sec license.

Congrats on the car going 10's, good luck on going 9's. Whats the fastest trap speed to date?.

The other comments were geared towards the other guys saying the evo got rapped or ass handed blah blah blah. That evo was probably stock turbo and stock block. Don't take it so personal.

its cool I have always got along with you in the past on the forum I just thought you were having an evo day lol. But we appreciate the good comments and he will get his 9 sec pass because I promised him it would happen, its just going to take some chassis tuning to get there thats all and a little more boost, hahaha.
