Question help me decide which to choose

I'm changing my HU. I narrowed down my choices to these two units

1. Alpine CDA-7894
2. Nakamichi MB-75

The NAK is expensive compared to Alpine but is it worth it? Is there really a big diff? Alpine has lots of features but some say NAK has good SQ compared to Alpines, and it has only basic features on it. Btw, I'm connecting an amp to it with JL component speakers and subs.

Thanks for any advice.

Default I have the 7894

I have the 7894 and it is a nice deck. I am sending the signal from the HU to a JL 300/4 amp. Nice clean sound.

I've been using the MB-75 for awhile (in my truck before the WRX)

It does sound good, but my complaint is how slow it changes disk compared to the stock WRX HU...I do believe in the SQ of the Nak products,,thats why I bought a PA-1004 to run my mids..However, its my opinion, that your average "joe" will never hear the difference between two products like Nak and Alpine,,they both make a quality product... I would chose the one that best suits your needs and desire "all around"..

Oh yeh,, I dont know about the Alpine,,but the Nak has Aux inputs..I use one for my portable MP3 player.. It works great..

Thanks guys,

that's the config i'm planning to do, hook up jl audio amp. did you install it by yourself? do you have pix of it?

wrx2.0 555:
the alpine has a built-in mp3 player but only carry single disc. I have to buy a changer. i was thinking since both the HU and changer costs more than the mb-75 without mp3 it would simplier to get it, considering the installation.
