Are there any office apps built-in or available for word processing and/or spreadsheets for the Touchpad?

I think the built in office program can only view, not edit office/pdf files.

I HIGHLY suggest following the speed up processes listed above. It's a minor pain in the ass, but it seriously about doubled the performance. Well worth the effort. It sped things up well enough I'm in no hurry to install Android. I'd say there is a good chance I'll stick with WebOS.

My only question is wether or not I can upgrade to 3.0.2 or if it will cause me to lose preware.

Thanks for the Google Docs tip, Neek.

If anyone can find me workarounds or apps for those I will love you forever. If I could find an app or workaround for those two things, I wouldn't even consider Android.

Is there a cracked app repo I can add? I'd like to try an app, but don't want to purchase it until I know it will actually work.

Even if that fix in the first post makes it faster, I'll still put Android on mince since it'll be a supported OS and be able to do a whole lot more.

Might be something useful in this thread

http://forums.precentral.net/hp-touc...e-patches.html

Also it does come with OpenOffice but only viewing. If Im not mistaken a update was suppose to enable editing. But with WebOS development slowing down (its not dead according to HP) who knows. Also this app is suppose to be developed.

As for the Netflix and Remote Desktop, couldnt find anything with a quick search. Splashtop Remote Desktop is suppose to be released for it but again is not yet.

The software selection (or lack there of) is what crippled this device from what Im seeing.
