the authentic lip came with mounting instructions, adhesive, surface prep, gloves and a few other things. I have a pictures somewhere... I gotta find it

The prodrive lip is meant to be tight fit and molded well because it's urethane. When following the instructions, I used duct tape to hold the lip in place while the adhesive cured

also, I'm in agreements that Cobb will NEVER be Prodrive and will NEVER be able to fill the shoes of Prodrive.

Prodrive was/is Factory WRC and F1 level engineering tech and production...

There are very few companies in the world who could compare.

Yeah original came with some adhesive for you to glue it. I was recommended not use it, what I used was 3M double side tape.
Had the lip on for a year and held up find.

Bump also looking for ProD lip that fits correctly.

Never said Cobb is prodrive. Just stated that Cobb took the place of prodrive in the states for tuning and solid quality parts. Prodrive is legendary in my book but sourcing parts isn't as practicle as it was when they had an operation in the US.

And we all are saying that Cobb has in no way taken the place of Prodrive in the US.

I'd say Cusco and Cosworth stand up.

The list is VERY short.

I'll snap a picture of the hardware that comes with the Prodrive lip, it's still brand new in the bag.

Prodrive is Prodrive and will always remain THE authority of Subarus. Period.

I really truly hope they get back into it when the 2014's are released.

Of course no one really knows what that will hold yet.

Doubtful, Subaru pulled out of wrc and prodrive was a major reason for that.

Well, with Prodrive campaigning Mini and the fact Mini is no longer a factory effort by BMW... maybe they will return with Subaru if Subaru decided to enter a factory backed car. Otherwise, I'd say it's over.

I had heard from more than one source that part of the reason the WRX was being divorced from the Imprezza line was specifically to herald a return to the WRC.

Supposedly a 1.6 Turbo next gen flat 4. Something along those lines anyway.

And A Prodrive Wrx is still offered in England.

I got a blank polished aluminum plate and had the prodrive logo cut in at things to be remembered. Cost me $10 for the plate and $40 for the laser cut.
