guess you dont need a front mount when you get punted after one pass.

im willing to bet that core is fairly efficient as well. still on top of a heater though.

I would think that has such a minor effect compared to the coefficient of drag of 1.0 lol

Clutch clip fell out and went into pressure plate. I picked up the parts to fix it, I will post up pics tomorrow.. it is so frustrating that a part that cost .50 cents stopped me from a clean pass. Stupid clutch kit!

Last pass on the 3582 will be tomorrow night, then I go for it on the 6266 and 17s. I make power like THE REAL RUSSIAN MISSILE and we weigh about the same. I have a better gear box, so I think it all evens out. I will be happy with some 10.2-10.0s @ 138-140mph in the toaster.. Who knows, maybe even a single digit pass?

I was going to keep it as a spare and do at least drop ins. I have a few people that want to buy it. The right offer and I might just sell it. At this moment in time, it is just sitting at the shop.

Junior:

Would that HTA82 be worth while on a stock motor and 93? I know it was spooling really fast, to where you were backing out timing to save the rods, but what could one expect out of it on 'normal' pump gas?

You should just drop off that 207 and lets build it.

Yea.. I was making around 430-450whp daily on 93. I backed down the spool to save the rods, the timing was still the same. 20-22psi on 93 will last a while.

Im not sure what you mean by normal pump gas.. but 93 is all we have available here.

How'd you slow down spool?

Saying normal pump was talking about 93, since E comes out of pumps too, but isn't as widely available.

GREAT news though!
