Default exhaust on rs 2.5?

I am going to get an exhaust done on friday. I am going to get 2.25 piping from cat back and a magna flow exhaust. has anyone had this experience with this setup? how good does it sound? what do you suggest for a good setup and nice sound? nothing to loud. thanks

by the way i have a 2000 silver impreza rs 2.5

If you're going turbo soon that's probably a little small, and 2.5-3 would let it breathe fully. If you're staying NA then it's fine, but you'll find more info in the NA forum.

I am not going to turbo it anytime soon. so i want to go 2.25. i just want to know if the damn thing will sound ricey or loud with that setup. thanks

I just got my exhaust. i like it but i did not expect it to be load as it is. its not loud but when you hit the gas it will get loud and then it will become quiter. is there a way i can have them do something to make it not as loud as it is? with out losing performance and the sound? thanks

here is the sound of my magnaflow. sorry for the ****ty sound quilty. the sound of the exhaust is ok. a little loud for my taste i want to see if i can quite it down a little. any suggestions?
