Makes sense. So you would put Vinatieri a step ahead of Robbie?
if they can run like they have been in the preseason, i don't think it matters who the qb is.

i'd put vinatieri ahead of the rest. 8 indoor home games vs 8 outdoor home games.

i see deangelo williams being the weakness with cam newton starting. i'm contemplating dropping steve smith because the qb situation there is so shaky.

kellen winslow with freeman at qb means double points

Yeah I developed it because I end up being commish for a lot of my private leagues and when you're running an offline draft, you're VERY busy doing everything that yahoo does automatically. To keep my draft looking good, I have to have prepped pretty well.

I developed that method because our scoring system is far from standard. Here's my long term auction keeper league, 10 teams:
QB, QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/T, W/R, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN
Completions 0.1
Incompletions -0.2
Passing Yards 50 yards per point; 6 points at 300 yards
Passing Touchdowns 6
Interceptions -2
Rushing Yards 10 yards per point; 3 points at 100 yards; 6 points at 200 yards
Rushing Touchdowns 6
Receptions .5
Reception Yards 12 yards per point; 3 points at 100 yards; 6 points at 200 yards
Reception Touchdowns 6
Return Yards 50 yards per point
Return Touchdowns 6
2-Point Conversions 2
Fumbles Lost -2

Made some small moves.

Dropped:
Davone Bess
Robbie Gould
Todd Heap

Picked Up:
Antonio Brown
James Stark
Adam Vinatieri

Got a few sleepers on the bench.

Now I want to get a Tier 1 TE. Who should I package to try and acquire one? Obviously Tony Gonzalez. I would put Reggie Bush but no one wants him.

I love the Pack and I'm a huge Driver fan, but from a fantasy perspective, his time in the sun is over with. He's 36 and his performance dropped like a rock last season. He'll be lucky to even be the #3 WR in GB this year. Luckily for him, GB plays a lot of 3 and 4 WR sets so he'll still see a lot of playing time.

As a 5th WR on my team, in a league where we start 3 WRs and picking him with the dead last pick in the draft, I'm pretty happy with him.

based on what it looks like to me, you'd probably want to make custom offers based on what you think they'd need.

He isn't going to get rid of his only TE and etc.

I hate you for getting Brown. I put in a claim the second I saw him dropped. Sometimes I hate waivers

Well its not really his only TE. He has Dustin Keller on the bench and would get Tony Gonzalez in the trade. Im thinking he might need a RB.

Heres his team:
QB: Michael Vick
WR1: Brandon Lloyd
WR2: Wes Welker
WR3: Kenny Britt
RB1: Mendenhall
RB2: Forte
TE: Jermichael Finley
BN:
Marshawn Lynch
A.J. Green
Lee Evans
Dustin Keller
Colt McCoy

Printing out my rank lists for WR, RB, and Top 200. I should be able to wing the rest of them for the live draft tonight. I'm really looking forward to the atmosphere.

I'd rather have Jordy Nelson if he's still available.

I canceled the other trade I had going for a TE.

Just sent this trade offer:

I give up:
Marques Colston
Tony Gonzalez
Brandon Jacobs
Reggie Bush

I get:
Larry Fitzgerald
Kelly Winslow

I need football already, Im too eager to make moves. If that trade goes, I lose depth at RB but I wanna take my chance and build my bench with sleepers.

I can't imagine anyone taking that trade FWIW. Lopsided trades (4-for-2, not "I clearly win") are just hard to pull off because even though the talent level may be even in the 4-2, he still has to cut 2 players.

Worth a shot, if he's willing to cut 2 players.

My final 2 drafts are today. Much to figure out since both leagues unexpectedly dropped from 12 to 10. Have to rethink my strategy now.

Just logged into my money league and apparently someone dropped out without telling anyone. So we have 11, not 12. Anyone interested in a money league? $50 buy in, $335/$200 for 1st/2nd and $5 a week for high score, scoring is pretty standard, only real changes are 6pt QB TD's and 2 extra points for passing TD's over 40 yards. Draft is this wednesday at 930EST. Let me know.

Oh, and positions are QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R/T, K, DEF, IR, BN, BN, BN, BN

D'oh. I'd love to join but my auction league drafts Wednesday at 600 EST and it typically runs for 4 hours or more. Damn offline drafts.

If you guys still need someone on Weds send me a PM and maybe I'll finish up early.

Some of you 10 team leagues might find this interesting:

Here are the results from 3 mock drafts I did. One as a first pick, middle, and last. To keep things simple, I'll only post my first 9 picks for each draft. These were done @ Yahoo w/ standard format... 3 WR/2 RB/1 TE.

56th Pick: Bradshaw, Ahmad RB
65th Pick: Harvin, Percy WR
76th Pick: Winslow, Kellen TE
Note: Desean Jackson is going late, he went 35th in this draft. Everyone on this team is also bye 5,6, or 7. Which makes it difficult.

Note: Hillis has gone very late in the 9 mocks I did today. Wasn't uncommon to see him go 30+.

FWIW: No one auto-drafted in any of these.

I've never been a huge stickler for picking first, but I only usually do 12 or 14 team leagues. Seems to have much better results picking early in a 10 team league.
