Here is the league I've been doing for over 7 years with the same core group of people. We all play FBB together as well. Which is why our rosters are the way they are (we like lots of points and big rosters). We only play with 10 people so we go with two QB's, makes a world of difference when doing your draft strategy. We also love Defensive players...it's like playing FBB without pitchers, don't know why more people don't include Defensive players, they can get a lot of points and a top LB is worth more then most TE's or WR2/3 slots.

I had the 8th pick out of 10 (opposite of last years finishing order). I almost always go high on the QB's but where people fell to me I had to take a chance on Freeman and Stafford later on, which might workout pretty good if Stafford doesn't die of Toxic Shock Syndrome first...

I'm somewhat surprised you use Yahoo for D player leagues. NFL's site seems to offer more options if you're going with a detailed format.

You're golden with Stafford. I'm surprised Charles lasted til 8. Someone take Troy P./Osi/Reavis early? I also hope Felix Jones does well this year- I need him to. I'm not completely sold on the guy just because it is a Dallas running game.

I took Charles and Megatron with the first two picks...the first round was AP, CJ, AF, RR, Tom Brady (Homer), Rodgers, Brees, Charles, Vick, Rivers...you pretty much have to take a top QB or you are screwed...

We looked at the NFL site, but have been playing Yahoo for so long that we just stick with it, it's nice that it keeps records for all the previous seasons. The Yahoo site is pretty good, you can adjust a lot of the scoring, even for the Defensive players. The first D players to go are usually the LB's, we give 1 pt. per tackle and only 2 pts. for a INT. So a guy like Jerrod Mayo could easily have 120+ points at the end of the season...

Yeah I have Jones on pretty much every team...he better ****ing show up this year

Well, hopefully Peyton is cleared by MDs before Cutler (backup QB) is benched with a concussion.

I'm kicking myself for not going with Big Ben.

Best part about the last draft spot is the first waiver
Meh, Colston is overrated in my opinion. He's a solid WR1 on any other team, but since Brees likes to spread around the ball so much to ten different players, he's incredibly unpredictable. You might get 20 points out of him or you might get 0.

Been thinking about sitting Colston this week against GB and putting in Mike Thomas (Jac) vs Ten. Thoughts?

i agree, he just doesn't get the touches, that being said it could easily change. (had him last year but dropped him)

Main reason he's the one I want to trade.

Jordan, I wouldn't argue against it, it just makes sense given d's, Woodson guarding him? I heard he isn't %100 either. I'll probably bench him

I do have a funny feeling about him though.

I think that's a pretty stacked team for being 10 people. Good job. I would have guessed it was an 8 man league.

So do I start Ryan Grant or Pierre ,Thomas? Seeing as how Grant is sharing touches, but Thomas does too.

Don't think I want to be in your position. I'd go with Grant because Thomas will get zero goal-line touches... that's what the rookie is for.

It was weird, the players just fell into place. Steven Jackson was still available at the 22nd pick/3rd round! How could I not grab him in a standard league? I could have had Freeman at QB but picked Ryan because I think Ryan will have his best year yet with JJ opposite Roddy White.

Yeah GB's defense scares me, along with Colston coming off of knee surgery. I believe Tramon Williams will be guarding him, who the last time they met got burned by Colston iirc (one positive).

Atrocious move. MJD is definitely going to break down this year with the workload he is going to get.
