Ingram will get the touches..but its hard to judge..especially in week 1 against the Packers!

I was thinking White, Fitz, and Calvin.

And, is it right to be down on Steve Johsnon from Buffalo this year? Alot of places are reducing his TD's by 3 and yards by roughly 200 this year...any reason?

I love Andre Johnson and AFAIK he is healthy this year but I got a little burnt lat year with his nagging injuries, and if that happens again this year it's not worth the first round pick to me...


Anyone know about Steven Jackson this year, is he healthy ? I pay no attention to the Rams...

A team in our league has Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and Mike Wallace.

I'll have to think about it. I might make a counter. If you evaluate this trade with the tool (which I know is kind of BS anyway) it shows you way ahead with +71 while I am -39.

I can offer Percy Harvin, Joseph Addai, and Olsen for Calvin or Fitzgerald and one of your TEs?

Think about it, no big deal. I looked at the evaluation but yeah, it doesn't mean much. If you look at there overall offensive rankings which are much more consistent, it is about as dead-even as it gets. You're weaker @ WR/TE and I'm weaker at RB. Figured trading benches might be beneficial for everyone.

I love Addai to death, but I don't want him this year. IND has back-field depth now and Addai can't be 100%. I can't see him lasting a season. I would be willing to deal either Calvin or Fitz... The bad news is that any deal we might be able to work-out, would involve Ray Rice .

He's as healthy as SJ can be. I don't know if the guy is ever 100%. When you've been running into 8 man fronts for 5 years straight it starts to take a toll on you. Hopefully Bradford will stretch the field a little. If he does Jackson might be a good pick up, especially if he can start getting into the end zone more. In a PPR league he's not bad either since. The Rams TE situation is sketchy so Bradfords safety net might be SJ instead of a TE.

I'll definitely think about it. The bolded part above is most definitely true. The only thing is I don't have it properly sorted, as Benson will be my started and Addai will be my bench player.

I can't trade Rice though...I have a feeling he is going to be a beast giving me about 30% of my total points most weeks.

As I said, Maybe I'll make a counter soon. I need to get a little more if I'm going to trade Benson. Give me a little time to think.

It helped drafting NFL rookies in the formative years of the league (7 years ago), and as you can tell I keep doing it. Offseason trading is allowed as well, so I can stack draft choices for the next year if I want to get rid of a high-producing rookie for another draft pick. I call it "Belichick-ing" (even though it really isnt)


Here is the league roster grid. All of my starters this year are my carry overs from last year, except I benched the Lions D after drafting the Tampa D this year. All of my drafted players are on the bench. Its more of a dynasty league than keeper league.

208 skill position players are accounted for, all 32 Defenses (need to have 2 on your roster, and all 32 kickers (need to have 2 on your roster)

I understand, I wouldn't trade-off Rice either. To be completely honest, I really don't want Olsen. I'm not willing to part with mercedes lewis, but I would be willing to offer ocho+pett for benson. Only because I don't want more than 2 DET players on my team. I'll never bench lewis so he is just taking up space.

i think SJ is primed for a big year. new offensive coordinator in the whiz kid josh mcdaniels. we all know he knows offense like few others do.

i also think sam bradford is going to blow up this year and improve on his impressive rookie season. he's got more weapons and josh mcdaniels who turned kyle orton and brandon lloyd into offensive juggernauts last year.

lance kendricks, their rookie te, seems to be impressing coaches.

i'm not sold on benson because of uncertainty at other positions: a rookie qb throwing to a rookie wr and eventually TO. jermaine gresham is a beast though. i see benson facing a LOT of 8-man fronts.

why aren't you sold on pettigrew? he caught 71 balls last season, matt stafford looks sharp this preseason, and teams will always double team CJ leaving the middle wide open.

I know teams are going to stack against Benson, but my logic tells me he's going to get a bunch of carries either way. And he is a good rb, so he will get yards regardless. He's probably good for a td per game too.

In the last three years Benson has scored 15 TD total...no way is he good for a TD a game...ask me how I know

Every projection I've seen for Benson in 2011 seems realistic. About 1000-1100 yds with 7 TDs.

He isn't my ideal back, but I can't be picky and he still has a starting job.

i'd prefer addai even though it'll be a crowded backfield. he's got the most experience and does it all for the colts: run, catch, protect peyton.

if i were offering benson and olsen, i'd be happy if the other player accepted

That is much more realistic...but I think he is going to have a tough season...I would be surprised if the Bengals win more then 2 games all year...


Looking into ESPN and Yahoo...seems SJ could be a steal if he remains healthy and that offense can pick it up a notch...
