Oh, I see you edited to show she was adopted. I thought you were pulling our legs.

Good luck to her in Beijing.

Out of curiosity, how does her missing leg affect her dating life? Personally, I guess I think of four scenarios, and I wonder which one is dominant or if there are more scenarios.

1. people being freaked out/turned off
2. people who are attracted to someone who overcame a physical difference
3. people who have some sort of fetish for if (saw a documentary on this)
4. people who don't really pay any attention to it

i have a 3-legged dog. i actually chose him from the shelter because i thought it'd be harder for them to adopt him out, and people who meet him fit into those 4 categories.

You must have an interesting social life.

Edited to add: OP's cousin kicks butt. What a great story.

I'd add
3.5. People who think "hmmm... what new sex positions can done with a chick with one leg?"

Wouldn't call it a fetish, more of a curiosity along the lines of what sex positions can you do with a gymnist.

I'm listening.

EDIT: Wait, so that her name would be Scout Trooper? I don't get it. Does that mean something in ophthalmologist speak?

Whoever named her Scout needs a karate chop to their larynx.

Otherwise...very cool.
