Question Need Help! 04 rex trans into a 02 rex.

Currently swapping a 2004 WRX trans into a 2002 wrx. Blew up alot of things inside the 02 trans. Im in the process of getting ready to sell the car. So hence my hesitation to swap a 6-speed or RA gears in. I got a really good deal for the 2004 wrx transmission. Finding out the hard way, that i needed to swap out the axels, slave cylinder and now the slave cylinder hose as i found out last night. After doing tons of searches, im coming up with nothing. Im wondering if the 2004 wrx slave cylinder hose will fit, as i have just ordered one from the dealer and i have 2 days to "wait". So far keeping this low budget, just about $1000 for parts and labor, im doing myself.

So is there anything else that i will need so i can hurry up and order it? And will that 04 hose fit lenth wise?

I guess the easier question would be is how long is the slave cylinder hose on a 2004 wrx? a simple measurment will do just fine.

Based on past experience and to the best of my knowledge, all 02 to 05 WRX slave cylinders are compatible. The only issue you should run into is if you got a late 04 transmission and need the newer style axles. Available at autozone for about $50 or $60 each. My zone doesn't stock sedan axles but they have wagon axles which fit fine.
