Default running a hta86 with a vf30 map?

I am running the Cobb vf30 map right now with all supporting mods. Within a week I am switching to the hta68. Can I drive my car safley with this turbo and the vf30 map? Like to the mechanic or to get it tunned?

If the only change is the turbo and you have the correct injectors and intake for the vf30 map, then you will probably be OK for driving to the mechanic/tuner if you stay out of boost (i.e. driving like a grandma). However, if you are going to get it tuned, most tuners will send you a limp map for your mods to get you there.

Wait for limp map.
Test drive on limp map.
Double check for fluid/vacuum leaks.
Go to the tuner.
?????
Profit.

You are forcing a square peg in a round hole to run an OTS Map not designed for your setup. Especially when it simply comes down to patience waiting for your limp tune.
