Default Quick question about Cobb V2 compatibility

I'm parting out my car and selling my Cobb V2 for my 2002 WRX. I advertise it will work with 02 - 05 WRX 2.0

I think the V2 he's selling can download maps for all 02-07 WRX/STi, but the 08+ use CANBUS, and therefore use a newer style AP.
Is this true, so it can work with STI's too? because I can download any map, so I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work with an STI.

The V2 Accessport for the '02-'05 WRX is the SUB001 Accessport.
It is only compatible with the 16-bit ECUs in the '02-'05 WRX.

The '04+ STi and '06+ WRX all switched to a 32-bit ECU which requires a different Accessport (SUB002).
The '08+ Cars use the SUB003 Accessports, which I believe is what the person who posted in your thread was referring to.
