guys who have the PDM or Ganz CAI.....
i was just wondering if you have had any problems with sucking up water if you go through road puddles? also will going through road puddles suck up any water? this has not happened to me but i was just making sure that my engine was safe from everyday driving in the rain and such.....thanks spt

I've had the Ganzflow for over a year and I intentionally drive through puddles (it's the kid in me
).So far, no problems. |

sounds good guys.......i was just asking cause drive through some big puddles and then i stop to check the PDM out and it is usually fine but the fender and the outside of the CAI are wet with water. i was just wondering if any water gets sucked up??

Man, Dont worry about it...
I have an INJEN CAI and i drive in rivers ! heheh no but serioulsy, i drove in about 4-6 inches of water (on the ottawa river beach) and my filter wasnt even wet ! as long as there is no water comming in from your door, you should be allright |

don't do this if your turboed./.. i get severe hesitation even with a strong rain on boost.......

I've had mine, Ganz CAI for over a year with no problems, and I go looking for puddles.

btw i have my vents opened...
i've never had a problem through puddles either... water doesn't get close to the intake... |

I have a COBB intake, (Enters the fender at same place as Ganz and PDM). I did some lapping at shannonville on a very rainy day and hit puddles at failr high speeds at WOT. No problems at all!
though, this is something I DO avoid doing on the street, just in case Chad |
