Talking Why is gravel fun...?? Now I know...!

I thought Autocross is fun until now. Recently I was on a military base and there was a wide open field with gravel. I checked and make sure there was no MPs around. Took it out and did couple of turns. Boy oh boy! It was the best few seconds of my life when it comes to driving experience. Because I didn't want to get caught by the MPs, I left after only few turns. Man, wish I can do it again.

Does anyone of you guys know a good place to drive on gravel? I am in Santa Cruz, California. I am willing to drive about 100 miles just to have some real fun!

Also, what should I watch out for so my car won't be damaged as bad as it would?

wouldn't hurt to get some undercarriage armor as well. you can make some with what you get from Lowe's hardware. They have sheets of aluminum for reasonable prices(out here in the east anyway)
