Hey,
My buddy wants to sell me his accessport for a good price but he has a 2007 Sti, can I use that for my 2006 WRX? Anyway to download the right programming? Does COBB allow that without having to pay for a re-licensing fee of any sort? Thanks.

Yes, the SUB-002 AccessPORT for the 2007 STi will also work on your 2006 WRX so long as it has been unmarried/un-installed from the previous car. The maps are also pre-loaded in the AccessPORT, so once you install it on your 2006 WRX, it will only let you install maps for that vehicle. I would also recommend connecting the AP to AP Manager to make sure the firmware is up to date!
