Default Does your car loose the tune if battery is disconnected

I have an Access port stage 2 tune...but no accessport. I took it to Titan who confirmed my tune...I am wondering, would I loose my tune if I disconnected the battery? I ask because I do not have an Accessport to re-load the tune if thats the case.

Thanks in advance.

No. You will lose ECU learned values, but the tune remains intact.

Just curious why you have no AccessPORT? Did you purchase the car in this condition? I would suggest getting an AccessPORT if you are without the hand-held unit. You can datalog, change maps and revert to the stock tune if you need to. Without this, you are rather stuck with what you have. Let us know the details and we can certainly help you out!

And to confirm, no, resetting the ECU or unhooking the battery will not revert your car back to stock. Only doing the AccessPORT uninstall procedure can do this.
