Lol, it's wierd getting use to not driving a sports car that isn't a subie but man, it handels amazingly and it punches you back in the seat pretty hard for stock so..

I just drove one of our sales cars that was straight piped, mbc, and intake only. Faster than a lot of modded STi's I've driven. I love that engine it is so raw. Backfiring like a rabid dog! New found respect for the EVO.

Love my subie but when I worked at the dealership in Eugene I will say the evos are a raw car they are just mean I would love to own one plus keep my subie

Pretty crazy how the evo puts down 300tq from stock. One of the few cars i can say i'm not overly tempted to mod it. Just plan on putting a drop in filter in it and i just got my block shifter knob so. It helps a lot as the five speed is pretty cluncky so the added waight of the knob helps get it fully into gear. The stock knob tends to lead to incomplete engagement which will you know what happends then.

decided i'd run a half cage again for a while. i love the way it handles with the cage installed. on rails...no body roll.

we make them at my shop. 4 point with harness bar and cross bar. tig welded together but bolted in. super easy to install and remove. i installed this on my own in like 15 min.
