installed a pioneer AVH P-3400BH headunit in the REX today. man I had read the stock headunit was way under powered. After i turned this HU on i was blown away with the sound coming out of the stock speakers.

I have a subaru IPOD intergration unit not in use anymore. What do these things sell for?

^^ Looks good! Wish I wasn't too scared to do this myself. Interested to see how it holds up over time.

Honestly, I couldnt be happier. It didnt make sense to have payments on a project car. And I was growing tired of how loud my STi was. I loved the car and it was a ton of fun to have, but having the space and the ease of mind not worrying about when and where you could go with the car and how much stuff you could pack is awesome and I love it.

Super easy. Mine have been done for 7 years and holds up fine. I didn't even bake mine I used a hair dryer to heat them up and separate. Then I used it again to re-seal them back up no leaks or moisture build up at all. FYI make sure the paint is good and dry before re-assembly as some paint fumes can cause cloudiness over time on the inside of the lens. But still a super easy and one of the best DIY mods even a beginner can do.

Tails don't work the same as they are fused together so don't waste your time unless you want to start cutting things. Much more complicated.
