Put foam tape between my door panels and the metal all the way around and a few other strategic areas, got rid of most rattles.

That's a pretty good idea. I might have to do that as well. Lets see I walked out of my apt. Today and tried to start it up and zoom off but it was dead. my buddy came over and gave me a jump then went to autozone and switched out the battery. Now I'm good to go.

Put about 170miles on the motor today (oly-ocean shores-centralia-oly) getting closer to my 1000mile break in! Cannot wait to get tuned! Oil change tomorrow just hit the 500mile mark.

Oh its always a great experiance with them. Bobby is a genius when it comes to tuning cars and always working/diag work/fab ANYTHING. hes awesome. So is Jason/Erich and the rest of the crew. All my friends take their STi/WRX swapped forester/ 2.5rs everything to them and they build BEASTS of subarus.

Crossing my fingers this isn't it but I think my timing belt skipped/snapped and seized the motor. That or something else is seriously wrong.

Engine shuttered and shut down with the oil light flashing on the highway last night. Pulled over and turbo was bright orange hot. Wouldn't start up again.. So its off to PRE for some diag work

Dang thats rough, yeah my volvo buddy goes there. Never been myself just hesitant about most places seeing my last two experiances where horrible at different places. I just need someone to check my work and get this thing to do more then crank over, I want to hear my baby come back to life. I will at keast keep them on the options list seeing I have not had or heard of a bad experiance with them.

They are top notch man. Very well known in the subie world and PNW. Just take it in or stop by and talk to them. They are awesome to deal with and do A+ work. They don't try to sell you on parts they tell you what's wrong and give options on different routes you can go p make it better. Many will vouche for them and their showroom / shop in the back are a representation of the work they do an the trust people put in them to build their cars

Changed oil/filter. Took a sample to send off to Blackstone again. I'm curious if the silver will finally be gone.

That is so cool.

And I thought I was cool installing a Koyo racing rad in my GR! The car won't even get to full temp now just daily driving. The motor will thank me next track session in March.

It was my understanding that, that's not a very good thing... Is your thermostat working properly? Or did you drop in a super low temp one...?

Washed and vacuumed the '09 after a 4000 mile cross country moving trip and bought my wife a '98 legacy wagon. Pretty good day!
