No worries at all here...Just trying to help a fellow out so you don't have to start a thread with, "Help, my motor sounds like there is a midget with a hammer in it trying to escape!".

Ding!

RP themselves would recommend one of their stouter oils if the engine was stressed. Edit: Don't remember what they call it off the top of my head as their site is down.

I really hate my chromed too. But I don't want to bake them, too afraid. I think I will buy them off ebay and swap everything to keep my hid.

Looks good. Been wanting to do this for awhile. What type of paint did you use. I want a black matte look. Wanted to use plasti dip but wasn't sure if it would work out fine. It's too bad you have to remove the whole bumper, unlike the previous models. It's a pain to get the bumper back on.

I used the Krylon that is made for plastic. I did not even scuff the crome, just started with a light layer and painted as normal. They came out great, no runs or fish eyes. Plastidip would probably work fine, but I wanted gloss.

I agree that putting the bumper back on is a pain, especially where it clips in around the headlights.

To keep my word with Andrew. He has waited almost a year for me to buy my new one and with things coming up it has been put on the back burner.

Finished wiring the DCCDpro controller in and mounted the switches. Changed the oil as well. Waiting on my wastegate actuator to come in so I can get some new tunes, 92 and e85.
