[color="DimGray"]Painted my new to me cgm bumper today. I half ass prepped it, it had peeling paint that I smoothed out a bit. I used the duplicolor perfect match paint quicksilver and clear. It's looks pretty good now but a few days to cure and a a good wetsand, polish, wax should make it look really good. I also put on the splitters off my old bumper.

Some cell pics.

I will be dipping the black section to make that look real nice. [ /COLOR]

My wagon never has more than two people in it, so... No more back seat! Only marine carpet, glue, and 1/4" plywood. Now I have room for board games.

Got my tune at MPS today. Dom did a great job and spent a lot of time working out all the bugs in the map. Very pleased with his work.

edit: sorry for the instagram pic. Its hard to see the lines on the graph without the filter.

Anyone have some euro buddies that are doing the Port Townsend cruise tomorrow?
I might tag a long with a couple friends, but don't want to feel like I'm imposing on the euro crowd.

I was gonna go with some people my girlfriend knows, but have to go look at houses instead. I actually really wanted to go, sometimes its fun being the odd man out.

Sorry to hear that. Prep does make a huge difference. Perhaps that is the cause? I did prep what is there pretty well but I didn't bother smoothing out the paint perfectly. I would say make sure the surface is super clean and that the weather will cooperate with you. Possibly try thinner coats as well?

I can't wait to polish up this paint and get it matching the rest of the car better.
