No if you buy it through zero something it comes with a wiring harness and it's all plug and play. You still need your key to turn on the ignition it's awesome. I had them wire it in because I have a turbo timer in the ignition harness

A little overdue, but this is what 3.5 years looks like.

Need to do this so bad! I didn't know a product like that existed. Pretty straight forward process?

Decided that it's probably time to sell her. Anyone want to buy a AP2 + dongle and cords for an 07 WRX? I'll unmarry it, of course.

Sad day... and my oldest kid (boy 9) will prob never forgive me...

Zero/Sports. Next time you take your car to get the emission test done don't say anything when they have to start it

The refresher kit or cabin filter? The refresher kit is straight forward, pretty easy on the Outback since I didn't have to jack it up to get to the AC drain tube.

The cabin filter on the Outback/Legacy is easy to do. I still have to do my regular replacement on the STi, easy to do but just a few more steps compared to the Outback.

I meant the refresher kit haha. So you use the kit through the drain tube? That's the one just behind the dp right?

Just ghetto dynomatted my trunk where the spare goes.
I used aluminum roof leak repair.. worked great I did it in 15 min in the parking lot of Lowe's to help with the booming drone I was having with the spy exhaust and catless.. the lady kept complaining of headaches..
Very worth the 16 bucks

Interesting! I've never heard of aluminum roof leak repair tape for sound deadening. Are the results significant? What kind of Db reduction would you guess?

NOOOO IDEA Db wise, I purchased the roll of tape that was 6 inches wide, and the whole roll covered the spare tire area once with some added doubled pieces... I would be wary to see if the tarry spell of it when i peeled the backing off to apply it would stink up the interior if installed in the interior but so far i haven't noticed anything... even sticking my head in the trunk while it sat for a while in the FL sun. The drone is pretty much gone, and I have herd of people utilizing two to three layers, My girlfriend said it made a big difference and I agree, you can still hear the exhaust of course, but the Boomy mid range rpm area upon acceleration is gone, if you get on it hard you can notice it slightly, but especially today I already had a migraine, and I noticed I wasn't affected upon normal commute at all. So yeah was it dramatic, well our migraines are relieved, and to me that's huge.
