Started installing stuff late last night...

Installed JDM headlights into the gf's bugeye wagon using JDM ballasts and lightwerkz harness.

This afternoon, the UPS guy delivered my short shifter, and shifter bushing for my Forester. And shifter bushings for my STi. The install was easier then I thought.

Fixed the ground on the hella horns from previous owner, would intermittently work at full strength or some little honk from a kids toy.

Also installed a Grimmspeed battery tie down. Had to shorten the lengths on some new J hooks due to the previous ones were already hitting the hood from the previous owner again

Re-sanded the section he partially sanded down. It was barely touching bare metal so it would only intermittently work.

Gave her the first oil change. Pretty easy, besides having a hard time finding the drain plug washer to replace with the new one. Turns out it was stuck to the drain plug and had been painted over at the factory with black paint.

You shouldn't have to replace that washer every time. I've done about 8-10 changes on mine, still using the washer that was on it.

The washer is cheap as "F" and the parts guy at the dealership just puts it with the filter and charges me. Its a crush washer, so supposed to be one time use.

Foreal, a crush washer can be reused if necessary but so cheap why the hell would you be like nah I can get at least a dozen changes out of this guy and probably save myself less than a dollar

Today I put on some Torque Solutions drive-shaft carrier aluminum bushings. Easiest install I've ever had. Ever. Took longer to jack up the car than to swap these out. Maybe they're worthless but I had them laying around so wth.

Small change, but, put my OEM pink star emblem on after work. Also found a tab broken off on my grille.. must have been the body shop.

Removed my A/C today. (hasn't worked for 4+ years)

Ran into a snag when my alternator tensioner bolt snapped! Luckily I had the spare tire tie down bolt, which fit perfectly for anyone who runs into this problem Get to show off the radiator now !
