The jury is still out on that. I have an email into the fabricator, asking about how much the existing part of the bumper cover will impact the flow/performance.

I seem to remember, and I can't say this with any degree of certainty, that the 90 degree nature will create drag and push air up (and down) to the covered bits.

You could test yourself with a high power shop "blower style" fan and some water. Tape a card board cut out, pump up the volume, and spray it with water. Granted it won't be as perfect of a replication as driving, you'll get a good idea.... Or better yet, just go drive with it on during a short span in the am when the fog is thick, and see what gets damp....

I'd say, wait as long as you need to to put new rubber on. Those tires are done.

Wheels will look sweet though

Hasn't been installed yet, but should be by next week!

Full turboback exhaust provided by CNT racing. Catted downpipe with their twin tip v3 catback. Catback will hopefully be on tomorrow, downpipe next week sometime after I get some new gaskets. Personally I wish it was a single tip, but I think the twin tip will look nice. Retailers claim it is on the quiet side but will still let you know it's there. I'm not a fan of the cannon style and side exit exhausts, so I went with this one.

I also went on the idea that "a pipe is a pipe", and made the decision to buy a knock-off (don't flame me bro). I would have loved to pick up a full Perrin turbo back system but the price tag on that was a bit daunting.

For those wondering, it appears to be of good quality. All the welds are complete and hangers are solid. It looks exactly like a comparable Invidia exhaust system. The catback uses a slip fit connectors, clamps are included.

What was in the box?
-catted downipe
-midpipe
-axleback
-two 3" gaskets
-adapters to allow you to run either the stock downpipe or an aftermarket 3" downpipe
-slip fit clamps
-turbo bolts, and downpipe to catback bolts (not really needed but eh..)

I suppose only time will (and installation) will tell if this can compare to other "name brand" systems.

Some pictures finally!

Sorry, they are not the best pictures I know. I plan on making a thread in the product reviews of the main NASIOC site with more detailed photos.

pup looks nervous...

Total price was $600

If anybody wants to check it out before it gets installed, feel free to pm me and maybe we can meet quick.

I am very doubtful there will be any real snowfall in Seattle after this month. March-April is pretty much just rain showers here. I bet it is really abnormal for you guys in Oregon to get this much snow too this late in the season. I am still on my Federal SS595. Hadnt even switched to my winters at all this year considering how mild it has been.

Finally used my studded snow tires on snow and ice covered roads. Didn't have as much fun as I could since they grab the road really good.

I wasn't actually referring to the snow. In the picture it looks like the tires are essentially to the wear bars in the middle. and bald on the shoulders. I wouldn't be surprised if they started showing cords relatively soon.

Just saying.

^That's what I was thinking when I saw the picture of the wheels. The outsides are bald from camber wear assumably and the rest of the tire are down to, or past the wear bar. Just not safe to drive on them whether it's rain, snow, or sun.

Here is a quick pic of the amount we have here in Springfield right now. Somewhere around 5 inches. Not normal, that's for sure.

Installed my CNT catback (photos a few posts back). Fitment was about an 8/10. It came with a bolts, but all were too big to fit my stock downpipe flange so I had to scrounge for a couple in the shop. It will be perfect though once I get the downpipe installed next week!

Also, it sounds amazing! You can barely hear it in the cabin but outside it is glorious Highly recommend it over alternatives that cost two or three times as much!

Decided to try out the 245/45 tires at 1 am this morning and pick my buddy up from the airport during his layover. It was interesting that's for sure. Had a blast around the corners of course!
