Internal

If you had an external waste gate you would easily be able to identify it as it would be completely separate piece with no arm connected to the turbo.

Why do you need to "upgrade your wastegate"?

That. If you go external you'll need a new uppipe and a tune. Stock wg is fine if your not modifying much

TurboSmart does make an IWG upgrade accuator. May have to mess around with the universal one like I plan to do. If there's a will, there's a way.

All Subaru's come factory with an internal wastegate. There are a couple companies that offer an upgraded internal WG arm. We happen to be one of them. PM me any questions you may have.

I don't know what additions you already have done to your car but upgrading the waste gate set up is not where I would start if that is where you are.

Forge makes one specifically for the turbo/turbos. Still a complete waste considering you can run 22-24psi on the stock actuator.
