He lost!

We were neck and neck to the 1/8 mile and then I just started pulling on him. It was nice to finally race someone.

Check this thread for details first http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=217969 and I'll fill you in if you don't find what you need.

All but one TXS product is listed.

Nice, got to love it.

Phil, I was curious how much boost you can run with the wet shot. Do you have to lower your boost or can you still run 18-20psi?

I want someone to run 11's on street gas.

I don't drive around with race gas in my tank, maybe others do.

Nice run Phil. But leaded fuel? Are you worried about your sensors? I never had the guts to use leaded.

The other link didn't say much about the NX kit. Do you have any information you can tell us about it, like is is car-specific, and how much and where??? I'd love to do nitrous, but am debating the NOS system vs. Nx system......

I don't drive around spraying nitrous either..

I think it'll be a while before anyone runs 11's without n2o and on pump gas.

Also, haven't you lost 2mph from youre previous runs? Is that in the tuning or due to the weather?

Probably still dialing in the n2o/fuel mixture.

11.96, 1.64, 115mph!

Default Some details

When I'm at the race track, I'm there to race, and therefore i'm using race gas. I sometimes use race fuel on the street and once you've sprayed, it becomes very addictive. I guess the NX remote bottle opener makes it a little too easy to juice it on the street.

I've run about 40 gallons of leaded fuel without any 02 sensor problems but i can assure you, I am bound to run into them sooner or later. We keep a spare at the shop, just in case. Use the stuff sparingly or use an unleaded race fuel.

We are using the Nitrous Express Wet fogger kit. This is a top notch kit and it is generic but comes with everything you need to install it on the WRX. With the 50HP jets we are seeing 70HP at the wheels. I also have their remote bottle opener and bottle heater kit.

At the end of that run, I ran out of nitrous from all the fun the night before. I did lose 2mph over my last run because of this and the fact that it was in the 90s. This was a day race.

I run about the same boost level as I do without the nitrous but since the addition of the intercooler, I've had to physically lower the boost to achieve the same psi. I do run more retard with the nitrous vs without.

The RFL rubs a little with the intercooler but we will be machining some new adaptors so they will fit.

I think, I got all answered.

Hey phil you should talk to Azscoobie about your Nitrous setup
according to him which he's got info for the nos company. They
changed the spray pattern of the 50 shot kit from the current,
I guess it's more of a mist spray which gets too all the intake
runners with the same volume, also something too do with
the fogger being too close to the throttle body. anyway they
picked up from the normal kit 65hp to 95hp just from this change!

Thats about all i know about it later, maybe azscoobie will chime
in on this and explain? later

Default Not bad.

Not bad Phil. I'll get real excited when a rex goes 10s w/out N2O.

There are DSMs that run 9s w/out N20...

There are some Hondas that are running 10's N/A. I'll get real excited when a 2.5RS goes 10s w/out turbo or nitrous.

None of those Hondas weigh 3,100 lbs. But still very impressive for small displacement N/A cars.
Very nice run Phil.

If those Hondas are more than 1900 lbs I'd be suprised.

Also I believe the wickedwrxwagon car went 11's with pump gas and spray.

Finally, nice mullets in the video. You should send it to mulletsgalore.com!

Hey negativelift: there's NO WAY in hell the fastest wrx in the
USA ( wickedwrxwagon) was using a 60 shot of nos in his car!!!

Try like 150 shot maybe. (The truth is out there)

But phil at turboxs running only a 50 or 60 shot is very good
times for that size shot.

But hey thats my 02cts and believe what you want. later
