That's pretty awesome. I know we are getting close to some data, but how does the 6265 spool? Like when are you seeing target boost on the road. And how do you expect it to compare to the 6266?

This one spools pretty nice, 10psi by 4krpm, 22psi by 4500, and 32psi by 4900. That is 3rd gear on the old style 6spd on a pretty cold motor. No AVCS, normal compression.
It can hold 33psi to redline and I am sure if I tried for 35 it would do the same.

I expect to see a 200-300rpm reduction in spool and about 20-30whp at the same boost. I also expect to be able to run 38-40psi with it and make over 700whp

Well if you wanna get observant, observe all of the track... look at the yellow safety tape and watch it blow sideways, and the yellow towel by the tree blowing sideways

It is near the windy city after all

Yes the Russian is a beast.

Small update on the car

Gears and 66 upgrade are getting done. I doubt he will be out again this season, but watch out for a mid 9sec full weight street car in the spring.

Call the shop, the website is under development. Lots of stuff going on and at a very rapid pace. I have been flying out literally every week to tune 10+cars at a time because we have been so busy and backed up.

Will do when I get closer to purchasing a big kit, maybe if someone from P&L sees this post they can chime in on ball park rotated kit pricing and if it is competitive with some of the other big name kits out there.

This post caught my eye, when I was checking out this sleeper drag car that you tuned but ya know what I couldn't just let this go. Ya know the funny thing about public forums is that anyone can see what you write! I know you are doing some pretty good tuning and P&L makes some pretty good stuff, I don' t dispute either and not looking to do so but you can't just spew out what you want in the real world! Where on earth did you come up with this statement about Cosworth Big Valve heads? I mean come on dude, do you think they just started working on heads and cams in the last few years? They do this **** in their own factories in the UK! You should be embarrassed to make such a statement, either that or you need to pull your cranium out of your rectum so you can see more clearly! You sure don't need to make such bogus statements to further P&L's work and products, their stuff can stand on its own. Please be careful what you write, it may come back to bit you in your gluteous maximus!
Ciao!

Maybe you should have some first hand experiences with them before you go and post something like this as well.

For starters, I am one of the few idiots that had a full cosi long block.. The really expensive one. It lasted me about 300 miles before I had to open it up and inspect it. It sounded like **** from day one. 2 cylinders on the same side, larger PTW then the other... Funny from this great company that something like that could happen. .. Right? I was told to ship the motor in for "inspection" ..

Onto the cylinder heads.. You ever heard of this little company called HeadGames? The fastest imports in the WORLD run his heads. He took my Cosi heads and showed me how much they sucked, showed me how crappy the valve job was, and then showed me how it is just essentially a stock head with the complete port opened up. Naturally it will flow better then stock. Do a search on how many small time guys build better flowing heads then the cosworths... Pretty much the only good thing in those heads are the Ferrea valve-train components. Even the CAMS SUCK, search on here how many have broken, go on EVOM and look at how many people have bent valves to Cosworths POS cams that broke.

Cosworth USA is what we get, not the same Cosworth UK.. so maybe you should get your data straight before you spew out bogus statements. Just because it says Cosworth doesn't mean its the awesome stuff that they started with in the UK yrs ago. The stuff we get here sucks.. Plain and simple, you don't have to believe me.. You can go spend your own money and find out for yourself. IMO cosworth parts are not worth it, the pistons will crack when you really start leaning on them because of the material. The crack is a over priced Arrow crank, the rods are carrillo's that they charge 400 more for.. ACL-Cosworth bearings.. H11 tool steel studs- ARP L-19.. All over priced, why? Because some one like you will see COSWORTH think its the best because of the name and spend 100000s on it.
