The white GR with blue Rotas is my car ^____^

I do have nothing but positive things to say about the dedication, diligence, attention to detail, and customer service that are offered at Akuma. They have been walking through the steps on what needs to happen with procurement, installation, billing, and final receipt of my car. Very VERY customer friendly.

I intend to do a full write up and review once our business is complete. I should say transaction because I can honestly say my business as a consumer will never be complete with them. Continually impressed ^____^

Thank you John, Kevin, and Akuma techs and staff for being there for me during this build

Corey

P.S. Kevin I still need that link to your photobucket (unless its on the first page... I haven't checked )

Hey Everyone, Todays Update has to be one of my personal favorites. Below is the shops GT-R. The interior on this car is immaculate and not a single piece left untouched. This car was dyno'd at 608whp/574whtq on low boost and pump gas.

Check out the Proven Power Bragging Thread Here------->http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2429541

We snapped some pictures of all the carbon fiber pieces as well as the car on the dyno, This car is truly one to enjoy every part of and we cant wait for what kind of mods this car has in store for us in the near future. Enjoy!!

That interior is horrible. Sorry, I was trying to find something I liked about it, but that red everywhere and that fabric...

I agree, the red is not for everyone. The owner really likes the red, so he went with it. I personally would have done dark charcoal with lime green stitching. The car is really coming together though. Check the dyno plot, it is a killer street car. It has our Stage 2 turbos...at GT28/71mm Billet wheel set up...dual ball bearing. We will get a full mod list up in the PPB thread.

This car will have a Cosy 4L very soon....8 sec 1/4 mile here we come.

Cheers,

John

We have a lot of work going on here at Akuma Check it out!!

This 2.0L just got a new 2.5L transplant as well as New super tech valves, TGV Deletes,FIC 775, ACT Street Clutch Kit, and some other goodies.

This next one is going to be pushing some good power. The Customer decided to go with a Kamak turbo and have the comp housing powdercoated to match his I.C piping. Looks Good! As well as some Wiseco pistons, Brand new factory crank and Eagle H Beam rods. Cant wait to see how this Turbo responds compared to his old HTA68.

Hey 561wrx, the Akuma team will be doing all the feedback for this turbo. I switched from the HTA68 (Akuma did not recomend this turbo, but gave me thumbs up when I wanted to switch). I wanted something a little larger than the HTA68 (although it is a great turbo w/incredable spool) to possible creat less cylinder pressure and get a little more efficent. This is the billet wheel with the STS 9-blade exhaust wheel which is rated to give faster spool?? We will see.

The Akuma team is one awesome group of people and have been nothing but 100% supportive of my build helping me along the way and dealing with 1 million requests, questions and last minute changes etc. (5 spd build to 6-spd transplant, coilovers, big brake kit) top notch bunch, the guys in the back have helped me all along the way as well it is a family atmosphere and I could not recommend better tuner, PR-team or mechanics!

It very rare that you go to a shop and the owner is out in the shop tweaking, talking to you and guiding you. They have never ever over-sold me EVER! As a matter of fact I had to push things that was a little extra and maybe not 100% necessary!

+1

My car has been there since late October and John, Kevin, and the rest of the Akuma crew have been helping me through a build plagued by manufacturer delays, last minute changes, and exchanging parts for different parts. They are even going out of their way to help me with several other things in regards to my build that a common business would shun away from.

I am now recovering from major shoulder surgery and they are nothing but helpful. They update me constantly and want to get my STI back as soon as humanly possible. If it were not for how genuine and helpful their business ethos are and just how good they are as human beings I would have not been able to accomplish my needs at ALL!

Here is my build:

Cosworth short block drop in
Clean and redeck heads
FP HTA Green
DW 65c
Kartboy short throw kit
FIC 900cc injectors
TGV deletes
Gauges
So much more to list...

If there is anyone you need to take your ride to its Akuma. Its that simple.
