What type of paint would you use? And where would I get said paint? I'm ready to buy!
The reviews on PlastiDip are great. I'm considering either painting it black using the PlastiDip or white using PlastiDip AND a clear coat on top. The white apparently gets mad dirty. You need a flexible paint. I have concerns about using paints such as the Rustoleum plastic paints. I have used that very paint on my plastic shed around my house. It bonds well and looks great, but it has the potential to crack and flake off if the plastic flexes too much. I want something that will hold up better, especially once the snow falls and the lip takes a little abuse.

If you order up, let me know how you like it! Mine fits perfectly and I couldn't be happier...especially with the price.

PlastiDip won't do anything in regards to protection even with a clear coat. It may protect wheels from eroding from the weather or keeping the salt off in the winter, but when it comes to a scrap it will simply just peel off and whatever is underneath the PlastiDip will get effed up too.

I cracked mine within the first 1,000 miles too, pulling out of a driveway. Sucks with a white car too, the black plastic sticks out like a sore thumb!

My SWP lip was damaged in 4 miles. Didn't notice on delivery someone from the dealer did it. Have to take it in and have it resprayed. It's almost not worth it
