surely this is an impreza but isnt that a diffrent front bumper on it. Or am i wrong

looks more like a hacked Legacy B4

wait, after another look...a terribly hacked Maxima. look at the wheel flares, those are from the maxima, defenitely. the only thing that resembles the impreza is the hood scoop, and obviously photochopped foglights.

It was a Photoshopped preview photo of the current gen Impreza before they figured out it has round lights.

End of story, nothing to see here...

that version? That "artist rendition" never existed anywhere but in some enthusiast's imagination. There was never a "version" like that to "keept"

Are you sure that was an artists rendition and not an early prototype in Japan? Remember, the JDM 2001 Impreza is our 2002 model. They had the "bug eye" alot sooner than we did. I believe that was a prototype or design model done by Subaru. They must have gone to the new headlights for money reasons.

Forester, that i doubt. Spy pics and art concepts are the rage up there in the mags. That same pic was shown to Subaru officials who said its nowhere close.
That was never in the works.
BUT I do agree to me that is a nice Subie, and to many nicer than the one we got.

To me, that looks like a pic of a MY02 WRX, but it prolly had the "camouflage" front bumper mask and someone photochopped Legacy lights and previous gen WRX fogs. Look at the grille, its current gen. The wing also. The basic shape of the this is DEAD ON. Hood too. But its too bad, I like that rendition!

Take it from someone who was part of that thread many moons ago.

It was a phoshopped version. The picture was discected, torn apart and proven to be false.

I think Glenn Wallace may have a pic of it on his site somewhere in the archives.

You guys are all wrong with this picture, this is actual (concept) car for impreza in japan, and this is not phochopped!i am positive and sure about it, because i had react some car magazine from Hong Kong and it said about how there plan to design up coming impreza for 2002 model...But finally there weather go for the europe style thats why there change the headlight to around even the fender fade, but i really wish there had it like that...it look pretty muscular don't you think so!beside if any picture had been touch up i'm definitely you could tell the picture had been revised!! know what i mean?

I'm almost positive that was a prototype for the new Impreza, I saw that pic in an Import mag about 2 years ago...

THAT PICTURE IS NOT OF A REAL CAR!!!!! Parts of it are real, but ut is photoshopped, just look at it, it is fairly obvious. Magazines run computer enhanced pictures all the time, it does not mean that they are real cars. That pic is from a magazine, but it means nothing.
