Default boosted 97 gc swap in the works

i havent been over here in awhile but need some input and knowledge for a project im workin on! so now the story... i got a 04 wrx wagon in trade awhile back. i love it but its automatic so im trading it for my fiancees 97 impreza 5 speed! its all stock so i have a good but high mileage platform to work from. i love the wrx because its turbo! other then that i like the gc a lot better. my plan is to build up a ej22t from an early legacy with the closed deck!! then put my spare tdo4 on it and lots of wrx stuff! then tune with opensource on maby a wrx ecu. the car is obd2 and i can do wiring if i can find out what to do! i wont have the car till next summer it looks like so till then i will gather parts, knowledge and hopefully get a motor ready to drop in! i will do as much research thru this forumn as i can but will have a lotta questions. so if you have done a swap like this let me know!

You are going to want to ditch the 22t heads, they flow like trash.
