Default 2005 wrx getting re-painted

Ok so my 2005 wrx is going to be repainted and i was wondering what detail equipment that i should use to prevent fading or chipping of paint and protecting the clear coat. What are some good wax's for me to use, and other detailing equipment that i should go out and buy to keep my car looking pristine. My brother used turtle wax "ice" spray synthetic Detailer it worked great for him on his bug eye and he told me i should look into this. Car will be painted to OEM 2005 Platinum Silver Metallic.

For the money, there's a LOT better waxes out there for the money, rather than spending for Turtle Wax. Meguiar's Gold Class and Yellow Wax come to mind.

And turtle wax is junk with minimal longevity. Like Smoke said, those megs products are a sure sight better and at relatively the same price.

This..did my detail with these products plus a polish and the results are amazing. I was surprised the difference between meguiars and mothers personally. I'd stay away from turtle wax. But thats just from my experience
