Civic Acura has been in Canada for years. Not expecting Honda to get this right.

The current TSX is HUGE!! I miss everything about the first Gen TSX; small, good suspension, good motor and 6 speed manual trans. Although,in typical Honda fashion, it had weak brakes.

TSX has double wishbones up front, and a multi-link in the rear.

Yeah, we've had the civic-based CSX for years, this is just a refresh with the new crappy civic platform. Thus far there hasn't been an Acura version of the Si, though, so I would hardly call it an RSX successor...

The CSX Type-S didn't count? Why, because of the suspension? Hell, even the base CSX came with the K20A2 (base RSX motor).

wouldn't be surprised if they finally released it in the states... it seems retarded to sell it in Canada and not here.

This is the new RSX. I think the name is inappropriate for the car, but it will be a new sub tsx car.

So this is going to be a fourth sedan, and still no Acura coupe?

RL (nice, but under-delivered against it's competition)
TL (ugly, but redundant with RL, and the plus side of offering a 6MT/AWD combo)
TSX (slightly less ugly, and not much smaller than TL)
___ next one (slightly smaller, and what else?)

That, in addition to Ugly Accord and Civic sedans on the Honda side, and utterly boring, and forgettable FWD coupe versions of those.

And the bulky-as-hell Crosstour, and ZDX that are trying to RUIN the concept of a 5-door sedan, by being CUVs instead.

But yet Honda/Acura can't see its way to actually BUILD an NSX successor, a real Prelude successor, or a second generation S2000 successor?

Honda/Acura is the last brand I am inclined to consider at this point.

Rumor is that Acura is supposed to be considering ditching the TSX and also is supposed to be reviving the RSX or an RSX like vehicle. I dunno if this vehicle is supposed to fill both spots but I think Acura was stupid for ditching the RSX in an attempt to move up market to begin with. The RSX was their best selling vehicle and a proven entry level vehicle that brought customers back to purchase more expensive Acura vehicles once they could afford them. I also think Honda has a hard time realizing that those in the know don't compare their FWD based luxury vehicles to RWD based luxury vehicles directly. I have no issues with Acuras...in fact I like them, but I won't compare a TL to a 3 series, G37, IS, CTS or C-class directly...they are targeting two totally different buyers IMO.

Suggestion to Acura: Build a diesel powered sedan, based on the civic, but looking nothing like the civic, with better interior materials, make sure it gets at least 45mpg hwy, then sell it at a comparable price to the VW Golf/Jetta TDI, and you will have a blockbuster. Maybe name it the DSX, or GSX (G for green )

Or just wait until the Cruze does this, and for Hyundai to follow suit, and release it 6 years from now, a day late, and a dollar short.

I stand corrected. At the time I looked at a CSX that was not out. Though with a purported price of $33k, I wouldn't have even considered it anyway...
