@ETS
What is the difference between the 2005-2008 Forester TMIC and 2004-2007 STi TMIC of same year range? 1) 2005-8 FXT 2) 2004-7 STi Will the FXT stock Y-pipe fit 1 and/or 2? |

Sounds like you should just buy the PW if it comes with a y-pipe and splitter. It is a good TMIC! Last edited by manitou; 09-28-2012 at 11:32 PM. |

Michael... I guess you didn't see my question back in March lol. Does your TMIC fit the 2012 wrx's? If not... is there a way to make it fit ? Anyone know?

Is anyone out there running the PW TMIC on an 11 or 12 WRX with the SPT strut tower brace on? I'm looking at model #PRW PWTMIC07. Asked the question on Rallysport direct and they essentially said they were not sure. Anyone know?

Just change out your intake manifold, turbo, shroud, mounting brackets, and then you'll be able to drop in an ETS intercooler in your 2012 WRX!

No, the TMIC will not fit the WRX. The intercooler is different. We do have plans to build one, but right now we are under heavy development and R&D. We will have more great products out shortly!

I now have an ETS TMIC on my 2006 Forester XTI using the stock STI Y pipe and it fits great. The fit of the ETS intercooler is better than the stock STI intercooler. |

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. You might have been the customer I was thinking of that put tons of work into his forester with the interior swap, etc.

@ETS, I am asking for clarification about the difference between:
ETS 2004-2007 Subaru STI Top Mount Intercooler: ETS-SUB04-TMIC VS ETS 2005-2008 Subaru Forester XT Top Mount Intercooler: ETS-SUB04-TMIC1, the Forester ETS TMIC has a C1 at the end of Part Number. Last edited by V8 GTFO Lesbic WGN; 10-02-2012 at 02:08 PM. |

The TMIC for both cars are the same. Our Forester intercooler requires the use of the STI Y-Pipe. We have it listed with a 1 at the end because the website doesn't allow duplicate part numbers. We list them individually so people will know it fits the forester as well as the STI with the use of the STI Y-Pipe.

^Understood, thanks.
But your website is still misleading, mixing descriptions of TMICs, showing pics/vid with no studs and end tanks fabricated, not cast. Last edited by V8 GTFO Lesbic WGN; 10-02-2012 at 10:04 PM. |

We just ordered one for a build, and that was NOT what we were expecting... The website shows nicely fabbed tanks... |

What... the... heck.
Why are they all so nicely fabbed from aluminum plate on their website? We won't be using this intercooler then. |

Has the hard line gap vs end tank been addressed?
Also what CFM? And how much does it weigh STi 2004-7 specific? ![]() Last edited by V8 GTFO Lesbic WGN; 10-03-2012 at 12:57 AM. |

To quote their website....
Quote:
2) Why would you port that if that was the case? These statements are contradictory to me.... I really hope we don't receive a cast intercooler in the mail this week.... Just doesn't make sense, there is a STACK of them shown in the photo on their site. Why would they ship cast versions? Last edited by kaos200; 10-03-2012 at 12:55 AM. |

The end tanks are cast man, not the core itself... Its a nice piece.
