No, I have my stock FXT pipe here and it is different. The inlet ports from the FXT will fit the intercooler and the ports will match but you will need a STI Y portion (from the 2 piece y-pipe version) to make it complete, that or an after market silicon Y.

Sounds like you should just buy the PW if it comes with a y-pipe and splitter. It is a good TMIC!

Michael... I guess you didn't see my question back in March lol. Does your TMIC fit the 2012 wrx's? If not... is there a way to make it fit ? Anyone know?

Is anyone out there running the PW TMIC on an 11 or 12 WRX with the SPT strut tower brace on? I'm looking at model #PRW PWTMIC07. Asked the question on Rallysport direct and they essentially said they were not sure. Anyone know?

Just change out your intake manifold, turbo, shroud, mounting brackets, and then you'll be able to drop in an ETS intercooler in your 2012 WRX!

No, the TMIC will not fit the WRX. The intercooler is different. We do have plans to build one, but right now we are under heavy development and R&D. We will have more great products out shortly!

To be honest, i'm not 100% sure, but I'm going to have one of my guys look into and get a response back to you. I did a couple quick searches online and it seems that the Y-Pipe is different, so if you want to run the STI TMIC you need to get an STI Y-Pipe as well. I will get confirmation on this though. I do have a customer with our STI intercooler on his Forester.

I had a stock STI intercooler on my Forester and it was an easy bolt on. I had to mod the firewall AC line with a little bending and vinyl hose warp of areas that interfered. I posted above that the stock Forester Y pipe and the stock STI Y pipe are different. ^^ see above.

I now have an ETS TMIC on my 2006 Forester XTI using the stock STI Y pipe and it fits great. The fit of the ETS intercooler is better than the stock STI intercooler.

Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. You might have been the customer I was thinking of that put tons of work into his forester with the interior swap, etc.

Not currently, we haven't ran into any flow restrictions or excess back pressure off the factory unit even with a 35R on the car.

@ETS, I am asking for clarification about the difference between:

ETS 2004-2007 Subaru STI Top Mount Intercooler: ETS-SUB04-TMIC

VS

ETS 2005-2008 Subaru Forester XT Top Mount Intercooler: ETS-SUB04-TMIC1, the Forester ETS TMIC has a C1 at the end of Part Number.

The TMIC for both cars are the same. Our Forester intercooler requires the use of the STI Y-Pipe. We have it listed with a 1 at the end because the website doesn't allow duplicate part numbers. We list them individually so people will know it fits the forester as well as the STI with the use of the STI Y-Pipe.

The end tanks are hand built and hand ported for maximum flow, fit and finish.

1) Hand built to me, implies fabbed up/welded up plates
2) Why would you port that if that was the case?

The end tanks are cast man, not the core itself... Its a nice piece.
