Default Engine mounts backwards?

I just installed the cusco engine and tranny mounts in my 2000 rs with a wrx ej205. I was using cusco's amazing directions (all in japanese) and I did not realize that there was a forward and a backward until I was done. Doh!

Is there an easy way to tell other than taking them back off? Those back bolts are a real PITA. Would it not have even gone on if I did it wrong? From looking at how I think that they are supposed to go, if one is backwards then I think the engine would be to far backwards? Does that seem correct to anyone?

Anyone know if it will hurt anything if one or both is in wrong?
