It's a matter of when now, not if.

Who will win?

Like I said before, this will be one of the best fights we will have seen in a while. I think that Manny will pull through and win. TKO in 10 rounds.

What he says and what he actually does are two different things. I'm hoping like hell he does step up and fight.

He'll only fight if he gets more money than Pacquiao. Last I read, Mayweather wanted 65% and Pacquiao will only do it for a even split.

IF the fight does happen I think Floyd will win by decision cause he will puss out and just win rounds instead of going toe to toe with Manny.

Have to see what the PPV sales were for the Pacman - Cotto fight. All preliminary signs point to over 1 million sales and may beat Mayweather's last fight sales.

That number will be used in the money negotiations for the fight with Floyd.

I'm pretty certain that Mayweather will win this. Pacquiao is not going to get the shots off like he did against Cotto and Pac will get hit a lot by Mayweather. Pacquiao doesn't have great defense like Floyd does. Cotto had problems with Manny's angles. Manny is the master of throwing punches from weird angles. Floyd is also very good at this so it will be a much closer fight. They can both hit their opponent without him seeing the punch coming.

I could honestly see Pac giving Floyd some problems and winning as well but if I had to bet, my money would be on Mayweather.

It will be a great fight if it comes off.

This is boxing not a bar fight. Why would he just stand toe to toe when he can use all of his other tools to win the fight?

Don't get me wrong, I love a good toe to toe brawl but I also appreciate a good technical battle which this fight will absolutely be.

Mayweather won't know what to do with Manny. Speed and power will be to much. Castillo who has fought mayweather stated Manny is faster and hits harder.

This ppv will be more then marquez vs mayweather. Which means 50/50 split.

For sure and I agree, i love to watch tech boxing as well. I am a huge Manny fan but because Mayweather is so technical that's how I see the fight going. Mayweather is a very smart boxer, that is why he is in the position he is in. And I think fans will be a bit dissapointed with the fight because of the way Mayweather will "box" Manny and not "fight" him.

I think people, even Mayweather, will underestimate the Pacman yet again. After rewatching the Hatton/De La Hoya fights I have to say that Pacman will take Floyd, I say KO in the 9th.

Oscar was able to hit Mayweather a lot, he couldn't lay a finger on Manny. People who say that Manny doesn't have defense are not paying attention, he ducks/bobs/weaves better than even Floyd. All Floyd has over Manny is the shoulder roll, Manny is much much faster with his footwork.... he will bounce away from Floyds punch and pop him from one his many crazy angles followed by a flurry of punches all with pinpoint accuracy.

Now some might say Floyd being bigger will have a power advantage, I don't see this being the case based on what we just saw with Cotto. Cotto landed significant punches which didn't slow down Manny at all.... he just kept charging, his stamina is unbelievable.

Manny has that killer instinct..... Floyd doesn't. I also see this fight having a lot of toe to toe action which will not go well for Floyd, he is going to have a serious problem keeping Manny out. Another thing we don't know yet is how good of a chin Floyd has, he has never been hit very hard...... and trust me..... Manny is going to hit him hard and he is going to hit him a lot. We have seen Manny can take punches from stronger fighters than Floyd, this is going to be a big problem for Floyd as he won't be able to scare Manny away.

Those who think Floyd is as fast as Manny are dreaming. Go watch Oscar/Hatton...... Manny is faster and stronger. Either way this is going to be a great fight, but my money is on the Pacman.

Also, this fight is def going to happen. They have been made offers to do it at Cowboys stadium, Yankee stadium etc etc...... there is money being thrown at this on epic levels, there is no way Floyd can ignore this payday.

Well, Castillo is shot to **** now. He's not even close to the same fighter as he was when he fought Mayweather at 135. A 154 lb Oscar De la Hoya hits harder than Pacquiao. The weight drained DLH that fought Pac is a different story. Also, speed and power don't win fights alone.

Yeah, Manny is the man right now and a lot of people are picking him to beat anybody. All credit to the man, he's a great fighter but as you said, I think people will be surprised at the way Floyd will be able to pick him apart. Manny has trouble with pure boxer/counterpunchers. Just look at the Juan Manuel Marquez fights. Got a draw on the first fight and won by the skin of his teeth in the rematch. If JMM can pick Pac apart like that, I don't doubt that Floyd can.

I really hope this fight comes off. I love both of these fighters.

And when Castillo fought Floyd it was at 135, Floyd at 148 has slowed down a little unlike Manny who has gotten both faster and stronger.

The DLH who fought Pac wasn't the same guy who fought Floyd at 154. DLH was weight drained for that fight. He weighed less than Manny on fight night and hadn't fought at Welter weight (147) since 2001. I hate the triangle theory anyway. It's been proven false time and time again.

Floyd doesn't need to be as fast to beat Manny. Zab Judah was visually faster than Floyd yet Floyd managed to beat him.

No way Pac gets underestimated. Are you saying that's what Cotto did? Cotto just lost to the better fighter. No way in hell he underestimated him.

He also doesn't have to scare him away with power. Floyd hasn't been a power puncher since his 130-135 days. What he can do is hit him and make Manny miss to win the fight which will frustrate the hell out of him.

I agree that this fight will happen. If Floyd tries to pull some crap with the purse split, like 60/40 then I will never watch him fight again.

Manny hasn't gotten faster. He has carried the power and speed well but he is not faster.
