I think Cobb posted +12hp and +27tq or something. I'm hoping they both cont development with these tunes which I'm sure they will. I got the SCT for dealer cost $307. Cobb isn't out for another week and costs what $500?
So you're going with an off the shelf SCT tune or are you going to pick up one of the Torrie Tunes? Interested in seeing how good just the SCT map itself is.

Well, I don't think there is a two door Focus on the new platform, so if we did see an RS, it'd be in the same four door hatch form factor that the ST comes in.

If Subaru can sell $40k STis and VW can sell $35k Golf Rs, who's to say Ford can't sell a $35k-$40k RS here? Obviously, Ford wouldn't be going into such a project expecting to sell five digit volumes. <10k would be realistic, and hopefully viable.

I disagree. Bring 2500 of them over at $40k and every one would sell.
And I agree with you.

For all its awesomeness, still FWD unfortunately but that doesn't mean any of us would stop lusting any less to get the Focus RS here. The ST is cool and all but the RS just has badass written all over it.

Didn't the last one clobber an STI around any given track?

Jeremy Clarkson was 3 wheeling this thing all over the track... not bad for "factory" suspension.

I dont get it.. they'll give us the Raptor, a truck that is COMPLETEL OVERKILL (and I want one) and gets 13mpg highway and is still a 1500 truck... for $60k+

But they wont give us a hot hatch people actually want?

2011 V6 Mustang beat an STI around VIR..i'd say it is hardly a huge feat to beat a stock STI around a track these days.

They should have at least modeled the exterior of the st after the rs. The rs just looks amazing, st is meh.

Look at the profit margin between a Raptor and a Focus ST...what would you want as the CFO of FoMoCo.

The Raptor is selling like crazy in the south. It is a factory redneck wetdream; hells yeah they'll take out a home equity loan on the double wide.
