Don't get me wrong I wouldn't hand that car over to a teenager either but that's because even the smartest most responsible teenager is a complete and utter moron behind the wheel of a car (real racing car drivers and Finns excluded) .

Some of us think that Ford may have gone too far.

Haters.

You don't understand how right he is. Any teenager is most certainly not.capable of.driving the ST. Only a grown man has the upper body strength to fight off that torque steer.

Bit overdramatic, no? It's as if he thought he was driving an F-22 or something....

"hamfisted" would describe what he was doing in that video. I mean some of it was for dramatic effect, but come on...

That review was hilarious. I didn't know Leonard Cohen had a CR gig.

I'd feel much more comfortable with my kid in a FWD Focus than one of the FT86 twins. You can drive like an ass and do dumb stuff in any car, I'm not sure why he thinks this ST is such a "dangerous weapon" because you can step the rear end out when hooning around in it.

At any rate, I don't see many parents buying their kids brand new $25k cars either, at least not in these parts.

My buddy did the exhaust for the Fusion AWD EB but he never mentioned that it was only an automatic.

Not sure if there's a Fusion ST coming out. I'd think it might be in the works since I believe Europe is getting one.

Like i said, just behind me. You still have to have an instructor? I was hoping to get another trackday in before April at CMP but it doesnt look like thats gonna happen. Work slowed down a bit the past week. Dropping another $500 on a weekend, to melt some tires probably isnt the best idea.

The F1s are no joke in the cold. I almost slid through T-intersection on the test drive with my wife and the sales guy in the car going down hill at no more that 30mph. Not even snow, just rain and low temps.

I ordered snow tires before I even picked up the car. Unfortunately the guy at DTD made a mistake and they did not fit without rubbing the caliper. Now I gotta get them exchanged with 17s.

btw: standard 16" steelies will not fit on this car, at least not with enough clearance to make me feel ok about running them.

oems are 18x8 55offset ftl.

Soo, a local dealer finally has a white ST. The downside is that it's loaded to the nines with full leather, moonroof, nav, and a $29k price tag which is more than I want to spend. It does have the all black interior though, which I dig. How bad are these cars on cold pavement with the stock tires? I noticed a local guy had put winters on his....

Decisions.
