Default Bird Poo!! But I fixed it :)

My WRX was parked in a spot I don't normally park in because some schmoe is parked in front of my house taking up the space that two cars could normally fit in. Unfortunately, I didn't think about the fact that I was parking under a street light and went out to find some nice big plops on my car Ran quickly down to the touchless car wash, and most of it came off but I was left with a section of that thick, chunky brown bird poo still on my hood. After carefully soaking and trying to get it off I still ended up with a horrific looking scratched spot Luckily all were surface and none caught my nail.

Note that the pic above is of light catching the scratches, not the bird poo itself! Luckily I have a Flex polisher and all the goodies to go with it, so 15 mins later and all was well:

That pic is slightly off center as I couldn't remember where the scratches even were after I finished the repair. Sorry for the glare in the pics, it was hard to take a shot that captured the right angle to show everything.

You're lucky it was just that spot. I just got my car back from the dealer for an oil change and they decided to wash my car after I specifically asked them not to. It came back and the ENTIRE car is scratched about 10X worse than that!!
