Default Impreza Parts (Fuel Tank) Interchangeability

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this, but does anyone know if the fuel tank from a 99 OBS will fit/work in a 95 Impreza? Also what other parts are interchangeable. I did to a search here and couldn't find the fuel tank answer.

Thanks!
DC

I am pretty sure that all of the 93-2001 (at least) fuel tanks are the same as long as the model is AWD. FWD fuel tanks are different.

The early GC tanks didn't have an evap system like the newer ones. Not sure when they switched over but I know 94 was different from 99. 95 May be the year it switched with OBD2. If you've got an evap canister under your right rear bumper of the 95 then the tanks will be the same.
